Chartering and insurance enrollment is now available for the 2018 Little League Season through the Little League Data Center.
Beginning on October 16, League Presidents, Vice Presidents, Secretaries, or Treasurers can log on to the Little League Data Center and begin the chartering and insurance enrollment process for their leagues for the 2018 season.
The Little League Data Center provides a secure and comprehensive overview of each local league. New technology solutions to help volunteers administer their local Little League programs will continue to roll out throughout the year. For example, leagues wishing to utilize combined teams or interleague play may indicate this during the chartering process and complete the applications electronically. Other new digital solutions are available for player and volunteer registration information. For leagues using DICK’S Team Sports HQ powered by Blue Sombrero for online registration, that information will be automatically sent to Little League International, helping to fulfill Regulation IV(g) and ASAP Requirement 14.
Please be aware that if your league or district's 2017 insurance policies were secured through the AIG group insurance program for Little League, those policies end as of 12:01 a.m. on January 1, 2018, and you must complete your chartering and insurance enrollment prior to the end of 2017 to avoid a break in insurance coverage, which may impact your leagues ability to secure fields, hold meetings, and conduct other league operations.
Again this year, as an early charter incentive, leagues who charter prior to January 31 will receive 10 additional free Little League rulebooks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How does the chartering and insurance process work?
For the 2018 Little League season, all chartering and insurance enrollment must be completed online through the Little League Data Center by the League President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer. Once logged into the Data Center, you will be able to simply complete your league’s charter application and insurance enrollment, which will be submitted to Little League International for approval. A video tutorial is available on the first page of the Chartering process, by clicking “Charter for the 2018 Season” to assist you with the completion of the 2018 charter application and insurance enrollment; as well as provide a thorough introduction to the website’s functionality. The required insurance enrollment form and paid premium, or proof of equivalent insurance, can also be provided. Should their team numbers fluctuate after registrations, leagues are reminded that they should use the Change Chartered Teams/Insurance Tool on the Data Center, which will be available through June 15, 2018.
How can we add or change our League Officers?
Prior to beginning the chartering and insurance process, you are strongly encouraged to log into the Little League Data Center and update your league officers. A new feature this year allows individual league officers to have their own Data Center accounts. All new officers will receive an email prompting them to create an account. It is important to ensure that all officers have unique and valid email addresses listed. An account cannot be created without a valid email address. Each league account will be assigned Data Center permissions, which must be set by the League President or District Administrator to allow each individual the ability to access, edit, or update certain items within the Data Center.
How do you log into the Data Center?
• If you have not yet created your individual account, you may do so by entering your email address on record in the Data Center and requesting to reset your password here. All current officers on file will need to follow this process to set up their individual accounts.
• Once your account is created, enter the email address on record in the Data Center and the password associated with your account.
• For individuals needing support for LittleLeague.org/DataCenter, email support@LittleLeague.org or call 570-326-1921 ext. 2800.
